Yes, Christmas is a national holiday here in Indonesia, but it doesn’t feel the same as if we were living in a cold climate. When we think of Christmas, we think of snow, ice, cold, and getting together with family and friends for meals together.
Here in Jambi, since it is always hot, snow isn’t to be found. So, to put a little “Christmas Cheer” around our home, P. made some snowmen, angels, and snowflakes. They really look nice and help add a sense of “home.”
