Dangers on the Rivers
Sumatra is known to have many dangers, and one of them is potential attacks by crocodiles. In the Bengkulu Province a crocodile has recently attacked and spread terror in the village of Jenggala.

About one year ago there was a report of a crocodile that attacked and almost killed a young girl. If it weren’t for the mother who jumped into the Bantang Hari River to save her, the child would surely have lost her life!

During my visits to the Jambi Province I have seen children playing in the rivers, even though they know that crocodiles are in the region.
